Happy New Year! I hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas and are returning to usual life rested and invigorated!
The Christmas period is usually a time when I reflect on life going forward. For many of us this means planning changes to our working lives in order to optimise the balance between work, family and social commitments.
I’ve recently stopped offering Thursday clinics in London due to family commitments in Bath. However to compensate, I’ll be offering more weekend appointments whenever possible (Belgravia on Saturday mornings and Kingston on Sunday mornings). Evening appointments are available until 7pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

In my recent newsletter I offered 1 month’s supply of Lumigan (bimatoprost 0.3mg/ml) free of charge to all clients spending £395 from November 2018 to the end of March 2019 (extended for an extra month for Scottish clients). I would like to extend this offer to include Retin A 0.05% face cream 20g as an alternative choice.
Tretinoin (the active ingredient) is well known for its collagen stimulating effects, for removing blemishes (acne, enlarged pores) for making the skin glow and for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Its effects on pigmentation e.g. melasma can be enhanced by adding hydroquinone to it (in the form of Obagi blender at a cost of £95).
I personally have used tretinoin regularly as my only night cream for years. I cannot recommend it more highly as it has dramatically improved the quality of my skin.
