A very Happy New Year to you! I hope you had a wonderful festive period and feel refreshed going into 2023.
With budget very much on all of our minds at the moment, I’ve made the decision to not increase my prices for either Botox® or fillers for 2023. This means that my prices will have stayed the same for ten years.
Re-affirming my commitment to you as valued patients, I will use my experience to give you an individualised treatment plan according to your needs. You will find that for Botox® ,once you’ve paid for the main treatment areas (frown, forehead, eyes) that I charge very little for extra areas (£25) for bunny lines, “lip flip,” marionettes, etc. compared to many other clinics, that often charge several hundred pounds for these extra areas.
Prices for Botox®:
- 1 zone £200
- 2 zones £300
- 3 zones £395
Regarding fillers, as the decades pass more syringes are needed to optimise your treatment goals. I apply fillers to different areas of the face to achieve a balanced, natural look. I have for some time been giving a 5th syringe free of charge once you’ve had four within a 6 month period.
This year I will be continuing to extend this offer to you.

PROFHILO FOR SKIN REJUVENATION
I’ve been offering this treatment half price for the past three months and I estimate that I have given almost 100 of you a course of two profhilo treatments. Reports have been varied.
Most of you feel that two treatments have made a difference to your skin’s texture. The “proof of the pudding” will be how many of you return for a third treatment 4 to 6 months later. I’d like to extend an offer of £200 (instead of the usual price of £300) per treatment going forward for the rest of this year for those of you who’d like to repeat it. You might also like to try it on your neck or décolleté. The recommended regime is one or two treatments (spaced a month apart) every 6 months.
“LATISSE” EYELASH ENHANCEMENT
This medically proven eye drop which, when applied to the upper lashes and eyebrows results in longer, darker, thicker hair, has become extremely popular over the past year.
I am working towards simplifying the ordering process by requesting bank transfers as opposed to taking orders over the telephone, making this easier for you. Soon, I hope to enable you to order directly from the St John Clinic website. We have sourced a very handy applicator tube with brush (much like a liquid eyeliner applicator) which we can send out to all new and existing clients upon request.
We compare our pricing with other suppliers, in particular, Mylash, who supply the same product at almost double the cost (please look at our pricing at the end of this email)
SKIN
Winter is the ideal time to boost your skin’s regime. I’ve always been a great supporter of the Obagi skincare range which includes prescription only products based on medical science and therefore stronger and more efficient than over the counter products. It really does the job of sloughing off old, dead skin cells, revealing healthy, new and younger looking skin. It will result in a glow and disperses pigmented patches (melasma, sun spots) over time. The Obagi regime does this by speeding up the turnover of your skin cells.
Your skin is an organ that is constantly changing and Obagi accelerates the cell renewal process. Most of you will notice side effects initially (such as redness, peeling and irritation). This is principally due to the added Tretinoin – an important step in order to improve the quantity and quality of collagen in your skin. You can manage this process to suit your lifestyle; you can choose to achieve your most beautiful skin quickly, accepting a high level of side effects (eg. using Tretinoin on a daily basis ) or you can go more slowly (eg. using Tretinoin twice per week) and therefore experience fewer side effects. An increasingly popular product is Obagi’s vitamin C 15% which is an antioxidant and which I also find very soothing and hydrating.
With an in-clinic/telephone consultation, I can tailor a regime especially for you by cherry picking the most appropriate products.
I have always maintained that a simple regime with few active products will do the job and will be more affordable/less time intensive in the long run. I personally use only two products each night and three each morning. Obagi do an excellent moisturiser (Obagi Hydrate 48g at £55) which I use every day as it balances any dryness caused by Tretinoin and provides a great base for make-up.
