I hope you’ve had a wonderful summer!

I have a special offer on Latisse eyelash enhancement for you which will hopefully brighten up your day (see details below).

I would also like to introduce a new skincare range I will be offering-SkinCeuticals by L’Oreal (please see below for details).

To cater for increasing demand, I will shortly be announcing the opening of three high street based clinics in South West London. These will complement the existing services at the Wimbledon Park and Harley Street clinics.

The ethos of the St. John Clinic is to provide facial aesthetic enhancement, practised by doctors, priced as reasonably as possible for the client.

I consider the following to be important:

1. All products used have been extensively researched and are of the highest quality. All fillers can be removed quickly and completely
2. Follow up appointments are offered after every visit to ensure that clients continue to look their very best
3. I continue to offer appointments outside normal office hours in order to cater for my clients’ busy lifestyles
4. The St. John Clinic pricing remains as competitive as possible. The Botox® loyalty scheme continues to be very popular and reduces the average price for Botox to be:

1 zone £156
2 zones £216
3 zones £260

To qualify you need to have Botox® treatment at least every 4 months. After 4 you get the 5th treatment totally free. Clearly you will need to pay the full price per treatment for the first four treatments ( 1 zone £195 2 zones £270 3 zones £325) before your free one.

To coincide with the clinic’s expansion, I plan to employ fully qualified doctors, trained in aesthetic medicine, in order to increase appointment availability at each clinic. Each doctor will go through a period of extensive training under my supervision to ensure that all clients receive the very highest standard of care.

** SPECIAL OFFER **

Latisse Eyelash Enhancement

Buy 3 bottles (at least 3 months supply) for £127 – half the normal price of £255. Offer ends 31.10.13

This offer replaces the free eye cream or Latisse with filler treatment in the last newsletter.

Latisse (Bimatoprost 0.03%) marketed in the USA, is the only FDA approved treatment for inadequate eyelashes. When applied once daily to the upper lashes, it results in longer, darker, thicker eyelashes. Results become apparent by 4 weeks and are maximal at 3-4 months. Should treatment be discontinued, the lashes gradually return to their original length. I have personally been very impressed by the result on my own lashes (and on those of my staff!) I am aware how time consuming, impractical and often costly artificial lash extensions can be.

The advantage of “growing your own” is the fact that they look natural (being longer versions of your own). Also, you can wear mascara with them to enhance the effect. Bimatoprost 0.03% is in fact an eye drop used for the treatment of glaucoma (raised intraocular pressure) but it was found that users of this treatment were growing longer eyelashes as a side effect! Though it is marketed by Allergan, (who make Botox®), in the USA to enhance the eyelashes, it has not yet been approved in the UK.

If you visit www.latisse.com you can read all about it. You will note that full clinical trials have been carried out in the USA by doctors experienced in the fields of plastic surgery and dermatology. There are several products on the market which claim to enhance the eyelashes. However, only those containing the active ingredient Bimatoprost 0.03% have been subject to clinical trials which scientifically prove the claims made.

New Skincare Range – SkinCeuticals by L’Oreal

NewsletterSept_Oct_1 NewsletterSept_Oct_3

Although I personally use the Obagi skincare range, it doesn’t suit everyone by virtue of the side effects often experienced, particularly in the early stages.

What is SkinCeuticals about?

SkinCeuticals was founded in 1997 by renowned American dermatologist and scientist, Dr Sheldon Pinnell. The SkinCeuticals research team formulated the original stabilised topical vitamin C serum paving the way for innovative antioxidant skincare technology. As a result, antioxidants have become recognised as a critical component to combating signs of skin ageing due to environmental attack (UV ranges, pollution, stress, smoke) and have changed the way we think about skin protection and rejuvenation.

What do SkinCeuticals products offer your customer?

Skin Ceuticals adopts a multidisciplinary approach to product development. Working with a network of top scientists in the fields of cellular and molecular biology, chemistry and biophysics, the brand continues to further the understanding of skin ageing, photo ageing and other skin conditions.

Today, SkinCeuticals continues to lead the industry as one of the first companies to provide scientific evidence to support product benefits – publishing clinical studies in respected medical journals. In addition to this, SkinCeuticals funds clinical trials at major medical institutions such as Duke University Medical Centre and the National Institute of Health, in the USA.

Why do you need SkinCeuticals?

To maintain and improve skin health, the SkinCeuticals philosophy consists of three fundamental elements:

  • Prevent signs of premature skin ageing by neutralising free radicals that cause oxidation leading to cellular damage
  • Protect healthy skin from harmful UV rays through UV filters
  • Correct the visible signs of skin ageing to help restore a youthful appearance and radiant complexion
